Achello Productions offers Internships for students of all majors with relevant experience. These opportunities are unpaid and require enrollment in a course for academic credit toward an undergraduate or graduate level degree. The internships begin with each school term Spring, Summer or Fall.

Production Intern
Excellent opportunity for students interested in production to get a “behind the scenes” look at what it takes to shoot, write, and edit documentaries for broadcast. Responsibilities & Skills:
- Assisting production team in archive searches for photos and footage
Time coding scripts and transcripts
Researching the story idea on the Internet
- Fact checking the script
Media logging footage
Assisting with overall production coordination
- If time permits, interns will also be welcome to observe the edit process
- Familiarity with Macintosh computer systems, Filemaker Pro, and/or Excel software a plus
Post-Production Intern
Open to students interested in becoming a professional editor for film or broadcast TV. Require students who have experience working with editing systems. Students will gain real-world experience working on shows after they come in from field up until the shows are shipped to the Network for broadcast. Responsibilities & Skills:
- Media logging field tapes and archival footage

Experience with editing systems preferred
Development Intern
Development interns work closely with the Story Development department to submit ideas for series already in production. Responsibilities & Skills:
- Assisting in researching ideas for new projects aimed at specific cable networks
- Reading daily newspapers and periodicals
- Clipping relevant articles
- Scanning articles into a computer database
- Presenting ideas to head of department
- Researching certain story ideas in depth
- Utilizing various databases to locate potential interviewees for a show
Marketing and Publicity Intern
Excellent opportunity for students interested in public relations and entertainment publicity to take an active role in promoting television premieres. Responsibilities & Skills:
- Assist in choosing production stills to promote our shows
- Work to build contact database of industry professionals and target groups for promotional mailings
- Help in strategize public relations efforts for each show premiere
- Involved in coordinating special publicity requests from the networks and media professionals
- Assist in writing press releases, company information sheets, and marketing materials
- Gather news clippings
- Familiarity with Macintosh computer systems. Public relations or journalism major a plus
